You've chosen your lot and signed your contract. What happens next to get your new home started?

First, your Neighborhood Sales Manager will contact the Design Center as soon as your sales contract is complete. The Henry Company Home licensed Interior Designer, Liz Wilson, will then contact you by telephone or e-mail within two (2) business days to set up a convenient appointment for you to come into the Design Center, located at 4229 Hwy. 90 East, Pace, Florida.

In addition to selecting the colors for the materials included in your new home, you may choose from more than 500 custom options to further personalize it. However, if your home is already under construction, choices for optional upgrades may be limited.

Since many items for your home are ordered well in advance of installation, it is important to be prepared to make all of your selections at the time of your design appointment.

The majority of our homeowners are able to make all of their color selections during a single appointment -- lasting approximately three hours.  If more time is needed, the Design Consultant will schedule another session within five business days for you to return and complete the selection process. You will be asked to verify your selections and sign a Color Selection Agreement. Copies of all signed contract documents will be provided to the buyer at the close of the Design Center visit.

Additional deposits may be required on specific changes or optional upgrades. They will be noted as non-refundable, pre-paid deposits on the Contract Addendum and signed by both the buyer and seller. Checks for these items are made out to “Henry Company Homes”.

At this point, buyers are given seven (7) additional, calendar days to make changes. Plan layouts may be altered and/or optional upgrades may be added or removed during this time for no additional charge. Some buyers elect to waive the 7-day period if they are certain of their choices and wish to move forward as soon as possible. However, any changes made after the 7-day waiting period has expired will result in a $500.00 charge per item and may cause construction delays on your new home.

Once the 7-day waiting period has expired (or been waived), decisions are final and signatures are secured, all contract information is compiled and sent to the Contracts Administrator for processing.
